Unplug the cables from the treadmill
On your back, unclip or remove any electrical connections such as a power cord and iPod connector that may be plugged into different ports on your treadmill console.
Take the console screws out.
Unscrew and remove one side of your treadmill’s frame and flip it over to look at its bottom.
Here are four hexagon-shaped screws on each frame guide bar.
With your console, these should keep your treadmill in place and your running platform level.
Take the console away.
Once you have unscrewed the console and detached it from the handrails, take off console.
Get off the treadmill.
If the treadmill stands has wheels, it would be easier to slide the machine off them.
Then roll it away from where you’re working.
If your treadmill has upper handrails, you can take them off using an Allen wrench to unscrew the hexagon bolts.
Take the mounts apart.
If your treadmill has any base mounts, you can take them off with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Next, take off the bolts that hold this part to the bottom deck frame of your treadmill, where the walking belt attaches.
Put pressure on the walking deck.
Once all the screws and bolts are out, push down with both hands on the center of the running platform to separate it from the motor mount.
Also, this is easy to do by hand and doesn’t need any tools.
Disconnect Walking Belt
Pull the walking belt off both sides of your treadmill to disconnect it.
The smooth side of the rubber should be facing up. You must push one edge down to move the belt from under the motor mount.
Take off the platform.
You can now find it easy to take out the middle of the walking deck of your treadmill.
In this way, you can take off the walking deck with little effort.
